In this tutorial, we're going to look at how to create your own client education resources.
To go to your my resources menu you need to click on resources, client resources then click on my resources.
Any resources that you do create will sit in your my resources library on the client education resources screen.
If we click on Add client resource, you'll get a pop up and you can enter the name and the first one I'm going to do is actually a video embed, which is inspirational video.
Select the file type. So video is if you're uploading a video that you filmed yourself, and you have a video file to upload. If it's a video that you have on YouTube or someone else has on YouTube that you want to embed, then just follow these steps.
So for the YouTube embed, you need to actually paste in the URL and I have one opened in another window, this clip of my favorite weightlifting events and clicking on share.
And then getting this code which is already selected. Copy and paste that in.
Now it gives you the options to assign straightaway. If you're creating a resource that you want to assign to a client, or if you're just creating resources to use later, you can just save it to my library.
As we've looked at in the assigned video, there's two ways to assign one is to assign to everyone or assigned to clients or groups.
In this case, we're going to actually assign it but at the same time, when you go to assign you also have the option to save a copy to your library.
So, in this instance, let's imagine I'm creating a clip and I want to assign it to one client. But I also think that I might use it again later. So I'm also going to save a copy to my library.
When I save it to the library, I can save it into a folder, I need to actually save it into a folder. Now I have a folder already already created just called mark on fitness. I'm going to create a new one, which when I select Create New Folder, it gives me new folder name, and I'll just call it
Inspiration.
You can create a message that this message will be the standard message that gets saved to the library. When you assign you also have a chance to update or edit that message for for that particular client.
And then this image is just the image that appears in the pop up if you want to put your logo or something like that in there, but it's not a required field. So then we can click Upload.
And because I selected to assign, I get the assigned resource pop up straightaway, which I'm going to assign to Arnie Assessment and in this case, this is where I can edit the actual message so I might personalize it and say Hello Arnie.
Whereas the Here is a video to watch would be what will be saved into my library. And I click assign. In the video is actually created and these there is the message that is in the library, I can click on play
So if you're going to create a document and this one, the diet plan, then you actually have to upload the file.
uploading an audio file is very much the same. going to show you how to do the last one, which is creating a web page, which is a little bit different.
Creating web page you might want to do if you're, if you're just wanting to create some information yourself, or if you're possibly wanting to link to another website.
So going to create a web page resource and then that gives you a website editor similar to what you would see in your in your own marketing website. And we're going to save this one to my library.
I can just put in some text here is an article on the myths of vegetarianism. And you can even bold or change the formatting, turn that into a heading. So just like website editor you can put in text you can upload an image by clicking on the image, icon here and then you'll get a pop up where you can upload.
You can put in a link which we are going to do. So just put some text in this case where you can also link from an image, please follow this link to the article.
And then I'm going to select that text, select the link icon there, which will give me a pop up and now I will add the url.
Link type URL you can also put in if it's an email. In this case, it is a URL HTTP we just leave that as is. In most cases that will always be what you're after and click okay.
And we have the folder of where we're going to put this and again, this is a web page that we haven't created any folders in there folder called articles and a message. In this case, I put a message in, and I click save.
And it's basically a very simple version of the webpage that I've created.
If I click the link, it will take me into that web page that I've that I've linked it.
So that's the different ways to create client resources, videos, audios, documents and web pages.
