2. Determine Your Niche Area of Expertise

Using Expertise info in your business

Level 1 Information

Sell access to your information or system on its own as a complete product through information products such as Ebooks, audio, or videos. The benefits of this level of a product are that once created the information is totally separated from your time so selling it becomes a passive income stream. It also allows you to have low entry point options to sell to those that may not be ready for your higher-priced items. People often fear selling these kinds of products as they think potential clients may just buy their book or video and not engage them for sessions. Quite the opposite is normally true as the information products can help to establish you as an expert in your field and help more people engage with your expertise and business offerings.

Level 2 Customization

Using the same system and information that you have documented in level 1 you can now offer products and services that include some of your time to customize the material to the individual client. Examples of this kind of offering are fitness coaching packages that include assessment, individualized program design, and instruction/coaching sessions. You can package them as a single program of 6-8 weeks or as complete Fitness Coaching packages for durations of 3, 6, or 12 months with the hours you spend factored into the price as well as your expertise and information.

Level 3 Support implementation

At this higher level, you can now offer packages to coach clients through implementing your system and expertise that has been customized to them. No matter how good your information is in your level 1 and 2 offerings, the reality is some clients will need more help. As humans, our biggest challenges are often not in knowing what to do but in implementing what we now know. At this level, your services are focussed on helping overcome blocks and challenges that get in the way of clients when implementing your expertise and systems. Regular personal training or coaching packages can be examples of offerings at this level. When supported by the materials you have created for the lower levels you no longer need to spend time just delivering information and your job can be more coaching-focused.
